Thursdays are the most exquisite days.
Two French classes, then a class on spiritual texts with the most unique (poor, poor word to describe him) professor I’ve ever had, then a wonderful, loud, delicious, ridiculous, crowded, busy, joyous potluck with my co-op members and others. Always a wonderful way to end the day. I am all content right now. All of me is content. Also, no class on Fridays.

Twin Verses
All that we are is the result of what we have thought: we are formed and molded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy whenever they speak or act. Joy follows them like a shadow that never leaves them.  -2nd verse from the Dhammapada, chapter 1.

It’s Ours there is always that space there  just before they get to us  that space  that fine relaxer  the breather  while say  flopping on a bed  thinking of nothing  or say  pouring a glass of water from the  spigot  while entranced by  nothing  that  gentle pure  space  it’s worth  centuries of  existence  say  just to scratch your neck  while looking out the window at  a bare...

My life would suck if I didn't live in a co-op.
So much novelty.

I'm a pretty terrible student.
I appreciate certain unexpected/heartening “likes” on Facebook from people I haven’t heard from in a while…it makes me want to get in touch with the person again. I’m in the most complicated yet superficial and typical situation of my life. I’m trying to make myself more rational and civil-minded but it’s difficult. I’m mellow yet very...
